I’ve been a musician pretty much my whole life. I was born into a musical family and started performing and recording around the age of 5. I spent my childhood growing up on the road performing with my family in churches all over the country up until my Jr.High school years. I actually started out on drums, never really quit for that matter, I just don’t have any drums anymore. I got my first bass at age 8 and for the next 20 years or so, I played bass and drums! I remember as a kid growing up, I would spend hours in our music room “jamming” with my Father (piano) on all kinds of improv stuff, on bass and drums! That time period spent with my Dad, I truly believe, gave me the foundation, skills, and confidence to do anything I wanted to do musically!

Through my high school years, it was a normal day for me to come home from school and play my drums to stuff like Rush, Genesis, Led Zeppelin for like 4 hours straight! But, I would also lock myself in my room for a couple of weeks with my bass till I had the new Rush album learned. You may ask, why so much talk about drums? Well, I truly believe my many years spent as a drummer greatly affected my approach to bass! I actually approach the bass as a drummer which makes it a lot easier for me to connect with the drummers I play with.

I’ve since had the honor and the pleasure to work with some of the finest producers and musicians in the industry in the likes of
Sammy Merendino, Kevin Shirley, Anthony Focx, Jon Denney, Kevin Martin, Erik Norlander, Jeff Kollman, Joe Vitale, Dario Lorina, Alan White, Freddy DeMarco, Vincent Ruby, Dylan Roth, and many more!
